Saudi Arabia recently launched a locally manufactured Lucid electric patrol car custom-produced for the security fleet of the Holy Sanctuary. The police car became a major attention at the World Defense Expo 2024 held in Riyadh, hosting over 750 exhibitors from 61 countries.
Specs and Pricing of the Police Car
The innovative design patrol car is equipped with a powerful engine capable of producing 1234HP with a rapid 0 to 100 in 2 seconds only. Having a range of 833 Km per charge and a rapid charging ability of 300Km in 15 minutes make it suitable for security fleets. These cars are tailored for deserts and challenging terrains. Lucid’s Middle East General Manager shared that they would assemble 800 cars priced at 392,000 Saudi Riyals each.
Lucid Patrol Car has Drone and AI features for Criminal Detection
Besides its speed and durability, these police cars are equipped with state-of-the-art security features powered by AI to play a significant role in maintaining public safety. Featuring six cameras and drone technology to capture gunfire, traffic violations, facial recognition, and license plate identification to help in the detection of criminal behavior and enforce general security laws.
Patrol Car is a Part of the Saudi Green Initiative
This patrol car also boasts its contribution to the Saudi Green Initiative and the Middle East Green Initiative led by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman by effectively reducing carbon footprints in the environment.
