Pakistani automotive industry is going through a strange phase. Car prices are going down, whereas bike prices are going up. Three bike companies, HondaYamaha, and Suzuki, revised their prices a few weeks back. Yamaha skipped the YBR 125G in its earlier bike price hike and has now done the deed on a separate notice.

The price of Yamaha YBR 125G has been increased by Rs. 8,000. The new price has gone up to Rs. 205,000 from the old price of Rs. 197,000. Here is the official price increase notice by Yamaha Motor Pakistan Limited.

New Yamaha Bike Prices

In the earlier Yamaha price hike, the prices of three bikes were increased.

First, Yamaha YB 125Z saw a jump of Rs. 7,000. Its new price is Rs. 176,000 compared to the old rate of Rs. 169,000.

Second, Yamaha YB 125Z-DX saw a jump of Rs. 7,500. The bike’s new price is Rs. 190,000 compared to the old rate of Rs. 182,500.

Third, Yamaha YBR received a hike of Rs. 8,000. Its new price is Rs. 196,000 against the old rate of Rs. 188,000.

The Rs. 8,000 increase in the price of Yamaha YBR 125G makes it four.

According to media reports, the reason for these continuous price hikes is very high demand. The reports have suggested that after the end of lockdown last year, the demand for bikes has massively increased in the market. Suppliers are finding it hard to meet such high demand for bikes and their spare parts. Due to this shortage, dealers are selling bikes at ‘ON Money’. Still, out of all the companies, Yamaha bikes have seen the biggest jumps of Rs. 7,000, 7,500, and 8,000.

I think all these increases are due to the previous governments (hahahahaha). The present government is doing its best for taking actions against MAFIAS. No one is there in the country to check why these MAFIAS are so strong even the “KAPTAN” cannot do anything.
