Today, we introduce you to the newly launched electric scooter EVEE C1 Pro. EVEE is a Pakistani startup born in 2023 and currently offers two models for their scooters: the base variant C1 and the top variant C1 Pro and this review is of latter one. An electric revolution is in full swing globally, and it is about time that the Pakistani market catches along.

Design and Looks

The EVEE C1 Pro portrays highly futuristic aesthetics with a sophisticated and minimalistic outlook. For instance, the headlight DRLs resemble the Tesla Cybertruck’s headlight unit, providing a sleek horizontal DRL. Furthermore, front and rear indicators complement the lighting. Other than that, we have concealed footrests, elegant silver color combinations, high-quality side stickers, a backrest, side and rear reflectors.

Issues

The headlight visibility could be enhanced for extra darker routes; however, within the city, the visibility is sufficient. The ground clearance is another issue here, with the height being small. It can damage the battery pack, which is situated beneath. The digital speedometer’s accuracy is also slightly off track; however, EVEE promised to get this sorted in the coming units. Moreover, the charging time is quite long and needs faster options.

Practicality Options

The scooter comprises a 22-liter boot space, providing sufficient area to safeguard belongings, an emergency repair toolbox, and a start-stop master switch. Furthermore, the seat cushioning is premium, providing good comfort. The steering handle facilitates the rider by giving multiple options, such as a USB charging port and a storage holder.

The scooter also has a reverse button. The EVEE C1 Pro is compact, lightweight, and smooth, making the ride a treat for the rider. The brakes are highly effective as both levers work as brakes. The front brakes are discs, while the rear brakes are drums.

Information Cluster

The information dashboard conveys multiple types of information to the rider. These include battery charging state, total km driven, and current gear.

Speed and Mileage

The scooter offers 3 distinct modes: Mode 1, Mode 2, and Mode 3. Maximum speed for Mode 1 is 25 km/h, 35km/h for Mode 2, and 50 km/h for Mode 3. The C1 Pro carries a 23 amp while the base C1 model has a 20 amp battery pack. EVEE claims that C1 Pro gives a range of 75-85 km while the mileage for C1 is 65-75 km, making a difference of 10 km. The C1 Pro charges in 7 hours, while the C1 takes around 8 hours to charge fully.

Suspension

Suspension is smooth and soft with a flexible frame, providing a comfortable experience.

Cost Effectiveness

Though the scooter covers one km for roughly Rs. 3, the battery life is only 550 cycles, meaning that after charging 550 times, the scooter will need a battery pack replacement costing Rs 35,000. However, the EVEE still wins over in cost-effectiveness compared to gasoline bikes.

Price of EVEE C1 Pro

The C1 costs Rs 200,000, and the C1 Pro is priced at Rs 225,000. The scooter can be delivered to your home via online channels.
