I did Coolant/Radiator flush on my Civic last friday. Was running tap water priorly so decided to change pipes hoses after inspection. And did a 3x flush. First with tap water. Then with distilled water mixed with taatri (Citrus Acid), ran for half a day and then again with distilled water after running it for 30 minutes.
Used Castrol Coolant 4l and some distilled water as I ran out of coolant.
Woke up the next morning, took a drive and came back to milkshake or some brown bubble paste in the coolant bottle.
Called the mechanic who did the work and he said bhai air trapped hain aam bubbles hain clean hojayega. Went on and just topped it with some distilled water again. Next day same milkshake. And it is sort of thick. I dipped my finger in several times and felt like it was keechar (sand). Didn’t feel slippery or oily. No smoke out of the exhaust either. No overheating either
Checked the oil and oil level, and there is no change or mixing in there. So I assume the gasket is not blown. Neither there is any change in performance. Car drives all good.
Drained the coolant today again and it’s brown and green in color. Looking to flush it 2-3x again.
Any suggestions what I should do or look for?
