In Pakistan’s auto industry, all the market players and car makers are suffering, regardless of the old or new entrants. However, car companies are announcing different offers on their prominent models to lure customers.
Concerning to ‘BIG 3’, Pakistan Suzuki Motors Company (PSMC) has surpassed its Japanese peers in bringing a series of enticing offers on its hatchbacks. In a recent social medial post, Pak Suzuki announced a ‘Exchange Bonus’, aka ‘Purani do, Nai Lo’ offer for those who are eagerly waiting to upgrade their old Suzuki to new Wagon R.
The company’s post read:
“Upgrade to endless joy by exchanging your old car with the new WagonR and enjoy an exchange bonus of Rs.150,000.”

Again, the reason behind such promotions is dwindling sales and profit volume of the company. As per the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) report, Pak Suzuki annual sales decreased by 27%. The company sold 4101 vehicles last month compared to 5628 units sold in corresponding time period of last year.
Coming to month-on-month sales, Pak Suzuki Motors Company’s sales increased by 16%, selling 4,101 vehicles against 4,885 cars in February 2024.
PSMC (Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company) sold 3,373 units of Alto, 320 units of Suzuki Cultus, 136 units of Suzuki Wagon R, 663 units of Suzuki Swift, 183 units of Suzuki Bolan, and 210 units of Suzuki Ravi.
