Continuing the celebration of producing 40,000 units in Pakistan, Changan Pakistan has announced another offer for its MPV, Changan Karvaan. In a social media post, the company wrote: “Changan is excited to unveil a special 40% discount Service Package for your Karvaan, commemorating the production of 40,000 units in Pakistan.” The car assembler urged the consumers to contact their nearby dealerships to avail the offer.
However, it is pertinent to mention that the offer is only valid from February 23 to February 25, 2024.
Explaining the offer, the company mentioned that the discount is on these services:
- Engine oil and oil filter replacement
- Vehicle inspection
- Top wash

It is also important to mention that this is not the first offer by Changan Pakistan on the production of 40,000 units in Pakistan. Earlier, it announced an offer for Changan Oshan X7. Extending its new year offer, the Master Changan announced Rs. 300,000 price reduction on both variants of the crossover SUV, starting the price from Rs. 7,999,000. The offer was extended till February 29, 2024.
To further sweeten the deal and make the vehicle more accessible, the company is also working with Habib Metro Bank to offer the lowest markup of 17%, which saves up to Rs 532,000 (compared to regular financing rates). Changan Pakistan’s vehicles, the Karvaan and Oshan X7, have been a hit among local customers, as Karvaan captured the market of Suzuki Bolan due to its comfort and more options than its competitors.
Oshan X7 has also emerged as a success in Pakistan’s ever-developing crossover SUV category. Furthermore, Changan is not the only car assembler announcing these discount offers; the other companies are also following the same path and the reason? The local market’s shift from “ON” to “OFF” as the prices are record-high, cars are out of reach of a common person, hence, the discount offers by the company.
