I don't really get what you're trying to point out...that vbulletin is unable to handle the size of Pakwheels?
I am a member at skyscrapercity.com and its a huge forum with around 1 million members, more than a million threads and greater than 100million posts. Yet it works fine with vbulletin. It is easy to read and navigate, its outlook is pleasant, and its owner takes great care of it. All that was needed was a competenet webmaster who could handle it. I dont know why Pakwheels is having difficulties with it, if any.
Since this is an automotive forum, let me give a relevant example. I am sure the "senior management" of those who launched Fiat UNO or those who launched Adam Revo had plenty of good and logical reason to do so, but look how it turned out. Or for that matter how Nokia decided moving to Android would be troublesome and their Symbian OS was great.
I will say this clearly because sometimes your best friend is one who points things out for you rather than simply praise all your actions. I joined Pakwheels community with great zeal and used to log in quite regularly. With this current upgrate ( or downgrade), this is no longer as attractive as it used to be. I find myself searching for other forums and sources of information. This layout is pathetic and must be improved. It kills the overall joy of surfing here and has already started limiting my (and surely others too) participation.
