I have recently shifted from 15" wheels to 16". Yokohama BlueEarth ES32 215/55/16. Rims are also replace with Toyota Genuine ones, same PCD 114 x 5.
The issue I am facing is - there is a little humming noise from the rear wheels (sounds from left only). It does not increase with speed, I mean it gets constant after 40 - 50 km/hr.
I went to Tires for the warranty, he changed the rear ones with brand new ones - still, the issue was there. I asked to change rims as well. He changed with Civic X genuine ones - still, the issue was there. I asked him to change the tire brand, he changed to Pirelli - still, the issue was there.
He then said these could be bearings. I changed the left-rear hub - still, the issue is there.
What could be the problem now? Is that due to tire upsize? I doubt that.
Update:
- Both hubs replaced now.
- Rear whole suspension inspected & greasing done in every nut & bolt after opening each single. All rubbers, shocks and 10/10.
