The 3rd Generation Mercedes C-Class was introduced in 2007. The 3rd Generation C-Class is a front engine front/four wheel drive subcompact luxury sedan. The 3rd Generation C-Class featured a brand new design language and more durable build quality compared to the previous 2nd Generation C-Class. The 3rd Generation C-Class received a facelift in 2011 that introduced a series of minor facelifts and engine revisions. The 3rd Generation C-Class is available in 8 models C128, C250, C300, C350, C63 AMG, C220 CDI, C300CDI and C350 CDI. It is also available in 3 body styles 2-door coupe, 4-door sedan and 5-door estate. Production of the Mercedes C-Class 3rd Generation lasted for eight years. The 3rd Generation Mercedes C-Class was available to purchase in the years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and the year 2014. The exterior of the 3rd Generation Mercedes C-Class features familiar Mercedes design language. The front end houses sharp, sleek trapezium side swept headlights, a rectangular chrome grille, and a trapezium air intake. The rear end houses trapezium side swept taillights, a chrome trim piece running the length of the trunk and dual exhaust tips. The 5-door sedan features identical styling to the 2-door coupe apart from being slightly longer to accommodate the rear doors. The 5-door estate versions feature a longer body to accommodate the rear tailgate but otherwise features identical styling to the other 2 versions. The C63 AMG variant features a slightly more aggressive and sports design language. The front end houses a larger front bumper that features a larger front trapezium styled intake flanked by dual rectangular style intakes. The rear end houses s larger rear bumper, a rear diffuser, a lip spoiler and a sports exhaust system with sports exhaust AMG tips. All other variants of the Mercedes C-Class feature identical styling in every aspect. The facelift variant of the Mercedes C-Class featured a slightly more updated design language. The front end houses more angular side swept headlights, a redesigned front bumper with dual daytime running light LED strips and a wider trapezium styled air intake. The insides feature an updated interior with new standard technologies such as a start-stop system. The overall exterior of the 3rd Generation Mercedes C-Class features a fairly unique and distinctive design language that allows it to stand out amongst its rivals. Options include a rear spoiler.

The interior of the 3rd Generation Mercedes C-Class features the familiar Mercedes design language. The front and rear seats are covered in fabric.
