Update: Almost Ceased Engine
My Pajero Mini broke down in middle of Shahrah-e-Faisal, coolant drained out. Luckily ECU immediately shut off the engine when it detected oil temperature shooting.
Poured water in radiator, but it was leaking from hidden location. After 30mins, I started the engine once to see if its gasket is burned or engine is ceased, which was not the case. Water in radiator was not showing signs of oil contamination. Towed it back to home with help of brother's Hijet Cargo.
Next morning I started to find the leak location, it was tiny piece of pipe which goes around the engine and into turbo assembly and from there to oil filter assembly, and lastly back into engine block. On this last part, the pipe got cut and leaked all coolant.
It was really hard to access, one cannot even see it without using mobile phone camera or mirror. I took my time to understand access points, and just unscrewed power steering pump bracket, which allowed access to it.
And the culprit is out,
Word of advice, if you see any radiator or heater core pipes bulging like that with pointed arrow, you should not waste time replacing them. This same situation was with heater core pipes which I noticed and replaced earlier, but this turbo water line was hidden so far.
Found the replacement pipe of some Suzuki model which had one 90 deg bend in it, I cut it to same size and fixed it back with original spring clips. Going to service engine thoroughly soon, looking too messy.
Another note, rather buying straight pipe, look for ones from other models with similar bends, they fix with original clips, while straight pipe have thinner walls and spring clips don't work on them.
Yesterday did a test run of about 24KMs and back home, it was smooth ride, used soft pedal to accelerate and didn't go over 70 speed, got stuck in traffic with AC on and no heating issue.
