I got my car from Haval Experience Islamabad; other dealerships may not be the same or may be the same.
General Impressions:
*Very, very courteous
- They offer Ceramic & PPF. I got complete painted surface + external piano black surfaces PPF for 280K (10 year warrnaty) from them. I bought interior TPU PPF and they installed that as well
*Accept Credit Card
*There were 2 very banged up H6s (one with severe front end and one with side collision damage). There spares arrived from Lahore when i was there. It included one door, one bonnet, one fender + flarings + lots of suspension parts
*I have a non working seat ventilation (I have a thread here on it). They checked for an hour. FIgured out that the CAN voltage was wrong. Wanted the car for a day which wasnt possible that day. They do have tech know how (at-least one person there does).
*They do however give you the impression that service interval is 3 months, which in fact is 6. I was told it is recommended to have it done at 3, but someone else here was told it was 3 from the company which isnt true.
*There's this person Ali Kashif on youtube. He is not from islamabad and had good things to say about the ISB dealership (haval exp).
*If its hybrid you want, X7 is out. If its AWD you want with features, x7 is out. Between FWD H6 & X7, the X7 is better (but no steering wheel reach control which is very weird).
*I would agree with darthvader; you arent likely to make up the 10 lakhs in fuel savings, unless you drive ALOT. The only thing that makes the HEV better apart from the Hybrid bit is its DHT which is very very nice to drive. The DCT in the AWD is like all Chinese DCTs; ie in need of a lot of refinement. But it can put down more power faster than the H6 HEV, despite the greater torque of the HEV; but since DHT limits it to FWD, all the torque does is spin the wheels. Oh, and the HEV has kick sensor for the boot; if that is your thing.
Given the choice I got the HEV since drive about 100kms a day so I assume some fuel savings. And my experience with the H6 GT DCT (Which is the H6 AWD coupe; Australia) wasnt the best.
PS: Which car's dealership you didnt like?
