For starters, 660cc cars are meant for thin oil, 0w20 or at most 10w30, anything above that is bad for them. Secondly, due to constant carbon build up issues, these engines need to be run hard every now and then. Just oil change isn't good enough, there are cat services, valve clearances, valve replacements, fuel pressure checking, etc.. Lots of other things, if you maintain your vehicle from a mechanic who knows what he is doing, your engine won't go kaput at 230k.
